Raku Yellow Footed Bowl

Handbuilt with a very thin layer of clay, this Raku bowl shows the characteristic scarrings of the technique. Its form is both balanced and unbalanced, expressing a sense of vulnerability as it appears on the verge of collapse, yet it remains confidently upright. The yellow color defines the piece and its presence.
